The port length to box volume ratio has been carefully designed to prevent group delay issues, aiding in removing the smeared sound that can sometimes be associated with port loaded systems. This allows us to take advantage of the deeper and more visceral bass that can be achieved with ported systems and also keep the tighter and more analytical sound associated with sealed subwoofers
